MCT 115th Release Sneak Peek #1

 It's day 1 of My Creative Time's 115th Edition Sneak Peeks!  We have such a fun release for you this month!  I used two awesome new die sets in my projects today:  the Star Pillow Box Die and our freebie this month, the Merry Christmas Die!

First, I used the new Star Pillow Box Die to make this adorable treat box! The die makes quite a large box, and it comes with a star die that you can use to make a window, or a coordinating tag!  I punched holes at the top so I could turn mine into an ornament, and filled it with some yummy mint M&Ms!

For my second project, I used the beautiful new Merry Christmas Die as the centerpiece of my card.  I cut the words with silver cardstock and adhered them to the shadow layer, cut out white cardstock.  I love that this die has the shadow layer that really helps make this sentiment pop!  Behind the sentiment, I tucked some pine boughs made with a die from an older MCT set, Fun Stitched Ornaments & More.

To make my background, I ink blended using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Candied Apple and Abandoned Coral.  I then die cut this piece using one of the More Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.  Finally, I embossed this piece using the Cuttlebug Windowpane Embossing Folder.
