MCT Cook 'N Craft


It's Cook 'N Craft Day with My Creative Time!  I made this card for a little boy in my class.  I have a lot of dog lovers this year!  I had the idea to use the MORE Stitched Rectangular Dies and Stitched Square Dies Inside & Out to make presents, with a little Doodlebug Chevron Washi Tape as ribbon.  For a tag, I used a Chunky Jar Accessories stamp and die.  The adorable pup is from Loyal Friends!


I'm heading into my last week of school!  This is a crazy time for me, as I'm finishing up report cards, closing down my classroom, and making gifts for my students and colleagues.  It's the perfect time to turn to my slow cooker, so that I can just throw everything in it in the morning and come home to dinner all ready!  I wanted to share one of our favorite recipes:  Slow Cooker Honey Sesame Chicken from damndelicious.net.  It's got great flavor, and I just make some rice and broccoli in my rice cooker/veggie steamer, and we're good to go!

    Your card is adorable! Great idea to use washi tape...I never seem to remember to use that tape.
    The recipe looks so good and pretty with the green onions and sesame seeds...the chicken looks so tender and moist.
    I hope your last week of school goes well and you get everything done that you wanted to.
