Welcome to the My Creative Time 59th Edition Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from the very talented Jessica. If you just happened upon here, you might want to head over to Emma's blog, to the beginning of the hop. This is a very fun release, and I hope you are as excited about it as we are!
My card today uses the new Chalkboard Christmas stamp set. I just adore the sentiments in this set! They are so big and bold that they can be the focal point on your card or tag! To play up the ornament shape of this sentiment, I stamped it with Versafine ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder to give it a little shiny finish that doesn't show up too well in my photo. I then added some cute holly and berries made with dies from the older Holiday Tags set. Finally, I poked a hole through my white layer (which I made with one of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies) and slid some gold sewing thread through it to "hang" my ornament. I added a little plaid patterned paper that I trimmed with one of the MORE Stitched Edges Dies to the bottom of the card and finished it off with some sequins!
Here's a closer look at Chalkboard Christmas. It is available now in the My Creative Time Store!
Staring THIS Friday, September 16th, 2016 @ 8AM PST, our "Freebie" for this release is this "Christmas Word Tree" stamp. It will be given to the FIRST 100 shoppers! If you are one of the first 100 shoppers, it will be automatically added to your package at the time of packaging/shipping. Once the first 100 shoppers come through, the set will be available for purchase. So if it's for sale in the store, you are not one of the 100. No exceptions will be made. This freebie set is not a part of the "bundle" and will be sold separately!
