It's our last day of the My Creative Time 58th Edition sneak peeks! Tomorrow is the day you can finally see this awesome release in its entirety and get shopping! But first, we have one last amazing stamp and die set for you to get a glimpse of today. It's called Spooky Time, and it is such a fun Halloween set!
Spooky Time includes a great coffin die with a layer, and I used it to make a coffin shaped card. For the layer, I heat embossed the poem background stamp with clear embossing powder, and then watercolored over it. Once it had dried, I put some copy paper over the piece and then ironed it with an iron on high heat to remove the embossing, leaving a smooth surface. I then stamped the tree from this set with Versafine ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. The bats were also made with dies from this set, and I heat embossed them with clear embossing powder as well, to give them some shine. I love how this card turned out, and I didn't even use any of the sentiments! There is also a fun border stamp included, as well as more spooky dies!

ReplyDeleteOh my stars! Your coffin-shaped cards are fantastic! My Halloween-loving heart is crushing over this new set, especially since I have ever so many Halloween cards/tags to make for my niece's Gr. 1 class (nearly 60!) and my nephew's daycare pals (nearly 30). Happy kiddos in receiving the treat; happy aunty in making them!
