Are you ready for another fabulous week of My Creative Time sneak peeks? You are in for a treat! Today we are sneaking two fun new products, and I've used both of them on my card. First is the In Stitches die, which is actually our freebie die this month. The first 150 shoppers starting at 8 AM PST on Friday, 2/19/16, will receive this free with their orders! I used it to make this fun stitched design on the black strip down the left side of my card. Doesn't it make a great accent?
The other set we are sneaking today is an adorable St. Patrick's Day stamp and die set called You're My Lucky Charm. I used one of the sentiments and the cute girl stamp for my card. There is also a coordinating die for the girl stamp, as well as for six other stamp images that are included in this set.
Before stamping down my images, I created my watercolor background by smooshing Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn onto a piece of acetate, spritzing it with water, and then pressing it down onto some Strathmore Bristol Watercolor Cardstock. To finish off the card, I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins.
*Sneak Peek Giveaway***
We will be giving away the sets we are showcasing each day to ONE lucky winner! For example, for the set we showcase on Wednesday, Emma will announce the winner in her video on Thursday, and for the set we showcase on Thursday, she will announce on Friday, and so on... ALL you have to do to be eligible to win is to leave a comment on our blogs! You are NOT required to comment on EVERY SINGLE blog, but the more you comment on, the better chance you have of winning! VERY IMPORTANT, please leave your contact information with your comment, just in case "YOU" are the lucky winner! For extra entries, you can spread the word about this release on Facebook, tweet about it, OR even instagram it! #mycreativetime! GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY, & let's start spreading the word!
Be sure to stop by Emma's blog to see what she and the rest of the design team have for you today!

ReplyDeleteThat seal and die the girl I love, suggests youth and fun.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing that has struck me is his description of how he used ink Tim Holtz Distress to create that effect, really ingnioso and wonderful.
I like noticing the details, and if there is video better because I learn a lot from people like you to know that I want to learn techniques.
Thank you very much for sharing your work.
Carmen
Your card is wonderful. I love your green water coloring. The black edge gave it a pop, but then you added the stitching and it made pop twice as much. Wonderful job.
