My nephew, who is a big Star Wars fan, is turning 10, so I searched the web for some Stars Wars SVG cut files that I could cut with my Cricut for his birthday card. I found these on Etsy. I made the background of the card by sponging on Tim Holtz distress ink in Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot and sprinkled on a few drops of water. I heat embossed the "happy birthday" sentiment from My Creative Time's Prehistoric Holidays stamp set. "10th" was cut with the MCT Number Fun Dies + Add Ons.

I can think of dozens of guys-young & old-who would love to receive a card like this. Most clever and that blue is perfect!
ReplyDeleteYour Nephew will love his card...the cut is a great find. Great job on the background.
