It's Scrapping the Little Things with My Creative Time today! I have a big box of pictures that I mean to scrapbook someday, so I went through it until I found some that inspired me. I found a few of my son taking ice-skating lessons 15 years ago! Don't you just love looking at photos of your kids when they were younger? It brings back such memories! I pulled out some patterned paper from Echo Park's Reflections Christmas collection and lots of MCT dies.
I used the Winter Flake Dies and some silver cardstock to make some snowflakes to scatter around the page. The "friends" word die is from the Friendships are Forever set, and I took "best" from Mini Greeting Dies.
I used one of the Tag Dies to make a little spot for my journaling.
The ice-skates from Winter Cheer were the perfect embellishment for this page!!! I wove some hemp cording through the holes for a little more dimension.

Oh Yes it's so fun and heart warming to look back at the photos of the kiddos when they were young definitely bring backs sa-weet memories. Your scrapping ideas using Miss Emma's goodies are awesome...love the placement of your pics you so did a super outstanding scrapping job!! YOU ROCK!!
ReplyDeleteI also have a ton of photos to someday scrap and I do love looking at them...maybe too much and run out of time to scrap. Such a great page! I like the silver flakes and the word dies are so fun to use! Does Eric still see his old friend and still are best buddies? They will enjoy seeing this!
