We've got a new Designer Challenge going on at My Creative Time! Join in on the fun! You can use the sketch below for inspiration, like I did for my card today, or you can use the inspiration photo below to get ideas for the content of your card or the gorgeous colors!
I was doing a little cleaning in my craft room this week, and I came across the watercolor piece that I used on the top half of this card. I had made it back when I was taking Online Card Classes' Watercolor for Card Makers and never used it for anything. It was easy to do. Just take a piece of watercolor, scor it every half inch to make a grid, and then watercolor. I used some Tim Holtz distress inks for my watercoloring.
For the bottom panel, I just did a little more watercoloring with distress inks, dried it with my heat gun, and then stamped the Script Type Background across it. I then added a sentiment from Many Greetings. The beautiful vine and flowers in the oval made with one of the Stitched Oval Dies is from the HELLO You stamp set.
Be sure to stop by Emma's blog to see what she and the rest of the design team have created using the sketch and photo inspiration. I can't wait to see what you create too!
