MCT February Release Sneak Peek #2



Are you ready for more sneak peeks today?  Well, you are in for a treat, because we have another adorable set, and this one is for all of you cat lovers out there!  You Had Me at Meow! is a darling stamp and die set, and I used it for two projects today.  First, I made this birthday tag using Tag Dies and Tag Die Layers.  I stamped one of the kitty stamps on some watercolor paper, tried my best at watercoloring her, and then cut her out using the coordinating die. I die cut the balloons using dies from the Best Bots Forever stamp/die set. Then I used my sewing machine to make the balloon strings.  The sweet little sentiment is just one of many that are part of this new set.


Now for my second project, I used the kitty to dress up the Valentine treat boxes that I made for the girls in my class.  I started by making a pillow box with the Cricut Tags Bags Boxes & More 2 cartridge.  Then I used a banner from Build a Banner Kit to have a spot to write my to/from.  Of course, I had to add the adorable heart from last month's Heart 2 Heart Love Frame Dies - so cute!


And then there is the adorable kitty!  Since I had to make 10 of these, I didn't want to do much coloring.  I just stamped her on kraft cardstock and colored the inside of her ears and nose with a Copic marker and the eyes with a gelly roll pen.  Easy!  Don't you just love the glasses and collar?  They are just some of the accessories that come with the kitties!  Adorable!

    OMG Miss Katie...WOW!! Love your card with the balloon you really did a super outstanding creative job first off your watercolor came out great and your kitty is adorabs and OMG love your idea for stitching your balloon strings I'm so going to try this...and your treat boxes are so cute and love that you used your cricut for them after all I so feel that the Cricut and Miss Emma's goodies are a match made in crafty heaven. You most certainly did 2 outstanding creative jobs!! WOW!!
