MCT February Release Sneak Peek #1


It's My Creative Time Sneak Peek Week, and we've got a fabulous release this month!  Today two awesome new products are being sneaked, and I used one of them on this birthday card for my niece: a fun stamp and die set called To a Cute Little Chickie!  This is a darling set that includes stamps and coordinating dies of four cute little chickies and several little hearts!  There are also lots of sweet sentiments!  

Since I wanted to create a large scene for my card, I used a full 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock folded in half for my card base.  To get the hills, I used the Fun Stitched Edges Dies.


Isn't this chickie adorable? He is one of  the larger ones that comes in this set. After cutting him out of yellow cardstock, he looked a little plain, so I stamped a polka-dot pattern from Coffee Break onto him with some Versamark Ink.  I can never get enough of the bike die from Way to Go, so I popped the chickie on top of a bike!  The balloons were made from dies from Best Bots Forever.  I wanted straight strings for them, and the ones that go along with them are curly, so I used the leash from the Classy Girl & Furbaby Dies instead.


I used a bunch of clouds made with the Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies and stamped one of the sentiments from To A Cute Little Chickie onto one of them.  The sweet trees were made with dies from Seasonal Greetings.  I love the little flower die that comes with that set!
