MCT Scrapping the Little Things


It's Scrapping the Little Things with My Creative Time, and it's a good thing, since my 2013 Project Life still has pages where I've inserted the photos but not gotten around to the journaling!  This is one of them.  My son and I have a tradition with my parents and my brother's family, in which we go out to dinner and then go to look at the houses that go all out with the Christmas decorations.  It's probably a good thing that I've waited a year to do this layout, since I have so many more My Creative Time products to use on it!


For my title card, I used the Stitched 4x6 Journal Die and then spelled out my title using the Lowercase Fun Dies and the ampersand from the Social Media Dies.  The cute little Santa hat is from Classy Girl Accessories.  Then I added some snowflakes made with the Winter Flake Dies. 


For this card, I used the Stitched Journal Die to cut a card with some Simple Stories patterned paper.   The polka dot and snowflake patterned paper are from My Mind's Eye Christmas collection.  I thought using the Stitched Bracket Die to make a border down the side of the card added some interest.  The stamped sentiment is from Boughs of Holly and the ampersand is from And Then Some.


On this card I added a sentiment from A Day in December and some cute little holly berries made with dies from Boughs of Holly.
