MCT Inspiration Wednesday

It's Inspiration Wednesday with My Creative Time!  Today I have a fun folding card inspired by this one made by Kristina Werner.  As soon as I saw hers I thought it would be fun to make using My Creative Time dies.  The stitching on the outside of Emma's dies is perfect for this card!

On the front panel, I figured out where I wanted the windows for my birthday sentiment and my two speech bubbles, and I ran the card through my Vagabond with the corresponding dies (one of the Square Stitched Goody Dies and a couple of the Fun Speech Bubbles).  I then adhered the cute phone made with a die from Best Bots Forever and some stars made with dies from 4x4 Journal Die + More.

To make the whole card, I started with a 5" x 10 1/2" piece of white cardstock and scored it at 3 1/2" and 7".  This gave me three 5" x 3 1/2" panels.  To give it one extra panel, I took another piece of white cardstock that was 5" x 7" and scored it at 3 1/2", creating two panels.  I took one panel of each of these two pieces and overlapped them and adhered them, creating the one, four paneled card.

When you open up the card, you see the sentiments that show through the windows, plus a few more that I added.  All of the speech bubbles are from Fun Speech Bubbles.  The ticket is from Fun Tickets, and the birthday stamp is from It's All About You.

I added canyon clay cardstock to the third panel and patterned paper from Simple Stories Awesome collection to the fourth panel, both cut at 4 3/4" x 3 1/4".  Lastly, I made a gift card pocket out of vellum using the Tag Gift Card Pocket Die.  All tied up like a present, I think this makes a fun little gift for my brother-in-law!

Be sure to stop by Emma's blog to see what she and the rest of the design team have for you today!
