Missing You

I had some fun trying out a new technique that I learned from a Jennifer McGuire video for the background on this card.  First I used embossing paste with the Simon Says Stamp Chevron Pattern Stencil on watercolor paper to create the cool texture.  Once it dried, I watercolored over it.  Isn't it a fun look?

For my sentiment, I used one of the My Creative Time Stitched Decorative Banner Dies, playing with it a little bit to extend its length.  Then I used letters from MCT's Alpha Pack to spell out "MISSING."  The "you" die cut was made with a die from MCT's Picture Perfect.  A few enamel dots finished it off!
