It's Thrifty Thursday with My Creative Time, a day to use up your scraps! I needed to make a birthday card for a student, and her favorite colors are pink and orange. I pulled out lots of pink and orange cardstock scraps and die cut a bunch of the chevron strips from the Tag Die Layers die set. Then I covered a square of cardstock complete with adhesive and lay the chevron strips across the square. After trimming the edges, I adhered this square to a larger black square and then that one to a 3" square orange card base.
I made the "wish" speech bubble with a Stitched Message Bubble Die and cut the orange layer in back with one of the Fun Speech Bubbles Dies. "BIG!" was also cut with dies from Stitched Message Bubble.
