Here's a fun birthday card that I made for a friend last week using the new My Creative Time Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies. I die cut the background with Papertrey Ink's Cover Plate: Stripes Diagonal Die in enchanted evening cardstock. Then I cut it again out of white cardstock and replaced a few of the stripes with the white.
My inspiration for this card came from a skirt one of my students was wearing a few weeks ago. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would make it a cute card, so she let me take a picture of it. :-)
I stamped a sentiment from MCT's Springtime in Paris on one of the white stripes.
I just love all of the fun flowers that can be made with the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies! I adhered the leaves directly to the card, but popped up the flowers with dimensional adhesive.
