MCT Scrapping the Little Things


It's Scrapping the Little Things with My Creative Time, and I'm finally getting around to putting together a Project Life page of a family camping trip from last summer!


To make my calendar, I took a map patterned piece of paper from the Simple Stories Take a Hike collection, stamped the calendar grid from Type Calendar, and added a polka strip of paper down the right along with a tab made with the Stitched Tab Die.  I then stamped all of the numbers in green, except for the actual dates of the trip, which I stamped in orange.


To make the background on this card, I stamped the grid from MCT's Get Schooled.  I then added a bracket made with MCT's Stitched Bracket Die and heat embossed a sentiment from MCT's Have Fun in the Sun on top of it.  That cute little checklist was in the Take a Hike 6x6 paper pack.


The embossed sentiment on this bracket is from MCT's Just Simply Live.  I used the MCT Stitched Circle Tab Die to cut out the little "Take a Hike" button from the Take a Hike collection.


The paper I used for this card is from October Afternoon's Campfire collection, with the vertical strip from Take a Hike.  I added a cute little geotag that I made with a die from MCT's Never Be Lost.  The sentiment, stamped on a die cut made from a die from Just Simply Live, is also from Never Be Lost.

    Katie ~ Holy smokes!! I LOVE this PL page! The papers are so FLIPPING PERFECT!! I LOVE that they are so outdoorsy! Using that paper with the Geotag ~ BRILLIANT! Then the details! I so remember this trip, not that I was there but when you post on FB about this! Those 2 seem and that logs ~ LOL! LOVE they showed the up with a HUGE logs! TOTALL FAB!!!

    I really like the papers and how the maps pockets turned out. Great idea with the calender and Get schooled grid. The brackets and embossing is perfect for a guys page. Fabulous job!
