Striped Birthday Card

I just love my new Papertrey Ink Cover Plate:  Stripes Diagonal Die!  I used it to create the background on this card front.  I started with just a basic A2 size white card base, and then cut the diagonal frame in white and adhered it on top.  It cuts at exactly 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  Then I used the die again to cut the diagonal stripes in all different colors (see the links below for specific color names) and adhered those down.

My sentiment is from My Creative Time's Some Days Simple Require... stamp set, and I heat embossed it upon an oval made with a die from MCT's Surprise Pop-Out Card.  The little flower buttons were made with PTI's Button Stacks Die, and I topped the smaller button layers with Glossy Accents.
