Special Birthday Delivery

I had some fun playing with the new Papertrey Ink Special Delivery stamp and die set over the weekend!  To make this card, I started with a white A2 size card base and penciled a diagonal line on the front.  This helped me line up my stamped buildings and tree from PTI's City Scene stamp set.  I then used the PTI Cover Plate: Stripes Diagonal Die to create my black diagonal frame, trimming off just the portion I wanted for my card and adhering it to the base.

I used the Stripes Diagonal Die again with white cardstock to get my inner diagonal lines, stamping each one with a polka dot background from PTI's Ribbon Tails stamp set.  The sentiments are from the Special Delivery Sentiments stamp set.  And then that CUTE delivery truck, that makes me think of the Partridge Family, was made with the Special Delivery stamps and dies!

Products used on this card:

  2. Katie ~ Oh tis is seriously so FUN and TOTALLY ADORBS!! I LOVE all the bright colors, the fun scene and oh the way you have the delivery van going up hill ~ just like SF streets! Just AMAZING card!!
