We've got a new feature for My Creative Time today: Try Me Tuesday, in which we are using our MCT dies for unexpected uses. I thought it would be fun to use the new Stitched Chevy Dies to create a bookmark!
I cut each of the chevy shapes twice and then arranged them as seen in the pic above. By arranging the ones on the left with the stitching side face up and the chevys going from smallest to largest and then having the ones on the right with the stitching face down and the chevys going from largest to smallest, I was able to glue them together without any other kind of base to hold them together.
After gluing them together, I stamped the sentiment and arrows from the new Bracket Sentiments stamp set. I thought it was just perfect for a bookmark! Then I added an oversized eyelet, some Papertrey Ink satin ribbon, and a little hemp.
Here's a look at the back - just as pretty as the front!
Be sure to stop by Emma's blog to see all of the creative ways that she and the rest of the design team are using their MCT dies today!
