MCT Inspiration Wednesday


Welcome to Inspiration Wednesday with My Creative Time!  Today is the day that we use some sort of inspiration subject to make a project of our choice.  I decided to make a fun St. Patrick's Day card inspired by one that I made a couple of years ago.  


Here's the original card.  I just love this Silhouette cut, which can be found in the Silhouette Online Store. 


For today's card, I used the My Creative Time Surprise Pop-Out Card Die to cut my base out of kraft polka-dot paper from the My Mind's Eye Haunted collection.  I then ran the right side of the die through my Vagabond again with some fun green patterned paper from the Fancy Pants Beach Bum collection to give it a layer.  Then I used a die from MCT's I'm a Lucky Girl to create some cute shamrock accents.


For the center section, I used the new MCT Stitched Grass Die and then cut the cute Silhouette cut and added it on, with some gold Stickles and Glossy Accents for shimmer and shine.  The sentiment is from MCT's I Believe in Leprechauns.


On the back part of the center panel, I die cut the rectangle and oval shapes that come with the card die and stamped another sentiment from I Believe in Leprechauns.  One more shamrock finished it off!

    LOL, LOL, LOL!!! My gosh it's only 5:35 a.m. and I'm sitting here with my 1st Kuppa, Kuppa Keurig LOLing.
    Your card is awesome, so clever and definitely fantastic. Katy I don't know how you do it but you keep on keepin' and I love it yep still laughing. What a great way to start my Wild Wednesday! YOU ROCK!!!

    Katie ~ Oh I LOVE this card! I loved the first one too but using that card die, those papers and the little details ~ SERIOUSLY LOVE!! TOO CUTE! You are so ready for St Patty's Day! Btw ~ if your having dinner ~ I am coming ~ just sayin!

    Somebody found the pot of gold...I guess they were lucky. The new card die, grass and shamrocks make this a whole different and fun card. Super job!
