Mini Birthday Card

Here's a little birthday card I made for one of my third grade boys using the My Creative Time Stitched Journal Die.  I folded a piece of Core'dinations Krafty Cardstock in half and ran it through the Vagabond, keeping the fold just under the top part of the die so that only the sides and bottom would cut, creating a card base.  Then I used the die again with a piece of patterned paper from the Simple Stories Awesome collection and adhered that to my card base.

The sentiment is from the MCT It's All About You stamp set, and it's heat embossed upon a die cut frame made with the MCT Stitched Mini Frame & Arrow Dies.  I also added a banner and some teeny stars made with the MCT 4x4 Journal Die + More and a larger star made with one of the MCT 3 Star Stitched Dies.

For my envelope, I used the MCT Scallop Stitched Envelope Die, decorating it with some washi tape from the My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste Adorbs collection.  I then stamped a sentiment from MCT's Once Upon a Time... just below the tape.
