It's Thrifty Thursday with My Creative Time - a day to use scraps, leftovers, or recycled items! I had fun trying out a new card style for today's project: a box card, following a video tutorial by Sharri Carroll. It is surprisingly easy to make. I used the Photobooth Stitched Die to make the window in my rustic cream card base. Then I used it again with a scrap of krafty cardstock for the inside, and I used scraps of my favorite My Mind's Eye Love Me paper (that is pretty much down to the scraps) to cut hearts with the Stitched Heart Layering Dies.
The little envelope was a leftover that I had cut for another project, but ended up not using. It was made with the Mini Stitched Envelope Die. I cut a little "note paper" with the Square Stitched Goody Die and stamped a sentiment from Once Upon a Time on it. This can be pulled out of the envelope to reveal a little message to the recipient of the card from me. In the corner of the card there is one more sentiment, from the Puffy Hearts Just for You stamp set.
