Welcome to our January My Creative Time Blog Hop! If you just happened to arrive here, you might want to start back at Emma's blog, so that you don't miss anything! She and the design team have so many fabulous projects to share with you!
For my project today, I created a fun trifold gift card holder, complete with a belly band! The belly band was made with one of the Fun Stitched Edges dies. You can see how I able to extend the length of it in my video further down in this post. I used the fun new Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO dies to cut my hearts out of the front fold of my card. Don't you just love the stitching that is left on the negative?
I also added an adorable little envelope made with the Mini Stitched Envelope die and embellished with a heart made with the smallest heart from Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO dies. So cute! Those teeny tiny red hearts were made with dies from the older 4x4 Journal Die + More set. My sentiment is from the new Once Upon a Time stamp set. Love the typewriter font!
When you pull open the front flap, the stitched hearts made with the Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO dies are revealed on the next part of the trifold. I added another sentiment from Once Upon a Time here, along with another teeny heart.
Finally, once the trifold is opened all the way up, you get to the fun gift card holder made with the new Stitched Gift Card Pocket Die! Love this cute little die! And, of course, I needed one more sweet sentiment. This one is from the new Puffy Hearts Just For You.
To see how I made this whole trifold gift card holder, you can watch the video below.
Here is a closer look at all of the new stamps and dies that I used on today's project. They are all available in the My Creative Time Store now!
