Here's a fun interactive Christmas card. I started with an A2 size aqua mist card base and then added a 5 1/4" x 4 1/4" kraft layer. Using one of the My Creative Time Fun Stitched Edges Dies, I was able to create a snowdrift. To make my trees, I just cut triangles from Echo Park's Season's Greeting's patterned paper and rectangles from dark chocolate cardstock for their trunks. The cute little stitched stars on top of each tree were made with a die from MCT's 4x4 Journal Die + More. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Scent-imentals stamp set.
This cute little gingerbread man was cut with one of the Scent-imental dies. I stamped him with a coordinating stamp first with Cup O' Joe ink, and then with Versmark ink, heat embossing a mixture of one part cinnamon, two parts clear embossing powder, to create the scratch & sniff element. The little red heart die cut was also made from a die from this set, and I covered it with some Glossy Accents. Finally, I stamped a cute little arrow stamp that lets the recipient know that this is a scratch & sniff element. I love putting this fun, throwback surprise on a card!
