Birthday Slider Card

Here's a fun birthday slider card that I made for one of my students.  This particular boy is very creative, so I thought he'd appreciate an interactive card.  I started by cutting my base out of kraft cardstock with the My Creative Time Stitched Journal Die.  Then I used the Papertrey Ink Movers & Shakers Sliders Dies to make the slider mechanisms out of patterned paper from the Echo Park A Perfect Summer collection.  I trimmed the white patterned piece down a bit so that it would fit on the kraft base, and I also rounded the corners on it.

This cute present is cut at 2 3/4" from the Cricut Everyday Pop-Up Cards cartridge.  I added a tag made with a sentiment and die from MCT's Chunky Jar Accessories, attaching it with a brad from Simple Stories I {HEART} SUMMER collection.  The nine candles I stamped are from PTI's Birthday Bash Sentiments stamp set.

The "Pull Here" stamp is from PTI's Movers & Shakers Sentiments stamp set, and the birthday sentiment is from MCT's It's All About You stamp set.

Lastly, I made a fun envelope with the MCT Scallop Stitched Envelope Die that is just the right size for this little card.
