Welcome to our November My Creative Time Blog Hop! If you just happened to arrive here, you might want to start back at Emma's blog, so that you don't miss anything! She and the design team have so many fabulous projects to share with you!
Yes, I'm still in the Christmas spirit here (must be all of those Lifetime and Hallmark Christmas movies I've been watching while I craft), so I've got another Christmas card for you today! I used a new My Creative Time stamp and lots of new and old dies!
I discovered that one of the new Fun Stitched Edges dies makes wonderful snowdrifts! It's hard to tell, but I ran a cool gray (C1) Copic marker just along the edge of each to show some separation between them. The back layer is adhered directly to the card, but the top two layers are each popped up with dimensional adhesive, which also helps to visually separate them. My little trees were made with the tree die from All Around Holidays. For the slightly larger ones, I adhered triangles from the Stitched Party Dies on top of the smaller trees.
This cute little puppy is from the new Classy Girl & Furbaby Dies. Isn't he adorable? I added a teeny heart that I made with the Stitched Cocktail Party Dies.
Finally, this gorgeous sentiment is from the new Fun Variety on the Inside & Out. I just love it! I added a bit of red stitching with my sewing machine to emphasize it a bit.
Now, here's a look at all of the new products from the November release!

ReplyDeleteOh Katie, this is just super cute. Love how you used that wavy edge to make the snow drifts and that Furbaby is adorable. I think Miss Emma needs to make another set of accessories for the Furbaby, like a little sweater to keep warm when playing out in the snow.
