Here's another fun project that I learned how to make with my Silhouette in Kerri Bradford's Hello There class: a flower petal card and envelope!
Kerri taught us how to make an intricate flower petal card base, and then I dressed it up a bit with some My Creative Time dies: Flower Petals and Stitched Buttons. To make my cute little button polka dot, I stamped it with a background stamp from My Creative Time's Coffee Break stamp set.
I added another extra detail to my card so that a message written inside the card would not show through to the front. I took a piece of Papertrey Ink's Postmarks patterned paper, cut slightly smaller than the card base, and adhered it to just half of the inside. This allows the intricate green part to still be it's own separate piece.
