Autumn Sympathy Card

I've found that the sympathy cards that I make tend to be very springy, with flowers and butterflies, which seemed to be a little out of place to give somebody in the fall.  So, I made this card using papers from the October Simon Says Stamp card kit.  The kraft base is from Papertrey Ink, as is the Ocean Tides cardstock that I used for my little scene.  However, the gorgeous white woodgrain paper is from the kit, as is the Lawn Fawn Into the Woods patterned paper.  I edged the orange patterned paper with the ekSuccess Bumpy Roads Edger Punch.

The pretty tree stamps that I used to make my scene are from the Simon Says Stamp Giving Thanks stamp set, which is also included in the kit.  I used a sentiment from PTI's Asian Fusion stamp set.  To finish it off, I added a little button made with My Creative Time's Stitched Button Dies, tied with some May Arts Natural Twine String.
