Kerri Bradford's new class, Hello There, started yesterday, and I'm so excited to be learning a lot more about my Silhouette! For our first project, we learned how to make a cute gift card holder. Almost everything is made from scratch, following her directions, but she does have some cuts for us too. "Enjoy" is an example. Love that font!
I love how the corner of the front layer tucks into the little tab we made. The last time I tried to create a half circle in Silhouette Studio, it took me ages, but now I know how to do it in seconds! We used the "print and cut" to make the cute little "spend this" tag. I tied it to my card with some kraft hemp, and I couldn't resist adding a cute little key made with My Creative Time's Chunky Jar Accessories Dies.
This sweet little butterfly was also made with a die from Chunky Jar Accessories.
Here's the inside. I think all of the notches and tabs are so cute! If you're interested in taking the class, you can sign up at anytime - it doesn't have to be live. I've taken all of Kerri's Silhouette classes and loved them, but I'm really excited that this class is focusing on card making! Click here for more info.

AWESOME job with your gift card holder Katie, it looks FANTASTIC my friend!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat card Katie! Good point this class is a focus on cards. I have not been through all of the classes I bought that Karri taught at Jessica Sprague. I really like her attitude. She is fun.
