MCT October Sneak Peek #4


It's our last day of October My Creative Time Sneak Peeks, and we've got a GREAT one to share with you today:  the new Scallop Stitched Envelope Die! I just love this cute little envie die!  I used it today to make a little thank you gift for somebody who has helped me out quite a bit.  This is actually the back of the envelope.  The die cuts out the envelope itself, plus the little circles, if you want to make a string tie envie.  I decorated mine with a sweet ticket made with a Stitched Fun Ticket Die and the new Holiday Tickets stamp set.  I also added some pretty stitched leaves.  The small ones were made with a die from the new All Around Holidays Stamp & Die Set and the larger is from the older Piles of Smiles set.  The pretty patterned papers are from Lawn Fawn's Into the Woods collection.


This envelope die was created to hold a 3x4 card, which also makes it perfect for holding those oversized gift cards.  My MCT Embossed Gift Card Holder Die is my go-to die for gift cards, but every once in a while I come across a gift card that isn't the standard size, such as this Target one.  This envelope is perfect for it!


I decorated the front of the envelope with more leaves and then a pretty rosette made with the new Scalloped Stitched Rosette Dies.


I topped the rosette with shapes cut with the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies.  The sentiment is from All Around Everything, and that is another leaf from All Around Holidays.  I just love how all of the old and new sets mix so well together!
