Partial Die Cut Trifold Card with Video

I've got a fun trifold card for you today!  I wanted "birthday" to extend off of the top layer, but not just as the blue word, the actual white card layer.  It took a lot of experimenting, but I did it!  You can see how in the video at the bottom of this post.

In this picture you can see the white layer peeking behind the blue.  I cut "birthday" using Papertrey Ink's Wonderful Words:  Birthday Die.  "Wishes" is from My Creative Time's Celebrations stamp set.

All of these fun stamps and the balloon dies are from the PTI's Birthday Style stamp and die sets.

  8. Great job on your card and video. I bet the classes were fun. I don't know why that trick to line up the die was off a little...a great trick and maybe some practice. I like the letters off the edge. Thanks for showing your tips on the video.
