A Cheap Crafting Video Camera Setup

Good morning!  I just wanted to share with you my new video setup because I'm so excited about it!  You might have noticed that I've made a few videos in the last few weeks after not having made any in about 7 months, and that's because I finally got a better setup.  I can now tape myself crafting without having a huge tripod between me and my table.  The best part is that my new setup only cost me EIGHT dollars!  Here's a quick video showing how it works.

  1. Great idea. The rice works so well because it kind of "forms" around the tripod. TFS

  7. I thought I would add more that I use a similar system for sitting buddies.. Ziplock bags filled with rice covered in tape for my K kids that have tons of energy. With parents permission they can choose to get a sitting buddy for the rug. Adds a little weight to help stabilize them but also provides a fidget if they need one to keep it together to get through circle time.
