Summer Card Camp 2: Day 2

This is my 2nd post today.  Click here to see the My Creative Time July Sneak Peek!

This is my card for day 2 of Summer Card Camp 2.  I have a lot of July birthdays in my life, so I'm taking advantage of this class to make lots of birthday cards!  Again, I'm following a specific color combination, and this chevron background paper from My Mind's Eye My Girl fit it perfectly!

The technique I used for this card was using multiple colors on a stamp.  This involved a lot of masking and took me a few tries, but I like the way it turned out.  The stamp is from Papertrey Ink's Stylish Sentiments:  Birthday, and I stamped it into a frame made with My Creative Time's Stitched Frame Die.  It fit perfectly!  My cute flower was made with MCT's Stitched Flower Dies and PTI's 2009 Bitty Dot Basics patterned paper.  I added a cute button from the My Girl collection, tied with some thin hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.
