Fun Masculine Birthday Card

I needed to make a birthday card for a male friend of mine, so I was super excited to see a great Kristina Werner video for this fun type of card!  She was inspired by a rug, which was just perfect, because there was a rug that I have been thinking of getting for my kitchen.  I went ahead and used the colors for my card!  You can see how to make the card in Kristina's video.

I adhered all of my colored strips to a piece of regular printer paper before cutting out the letters, using the My Creative Time Lowercase Fun Dies.  I ran it through the Vagabond the first time, leaving space for the second "p" (since I only have one), and then ran it through again with just the "p".  The last step was to heat emboss "Birthday" from MCT's Celebrate Good Times stamp set.  I popped up the entire thing on black cardstock using a TON of dimensional adhesive!
