Today I'm Scrapping the Little Things with My Creative Time! This is the day we pull out our Project Life, SMASH Book, or traditional scrapbook albums. As you can see, I'm a bit behind on my Project Life, as these pics are from Easter! I put in some pictures of our family Easter Egg Hunt and added a cute little "Got eggs?" banner on top of the pic of Eric's little cousins helping him find eggs. That sentiment is from My Creative Time's To My Best Peep stamp set, and I stamped it onto a banner made with the Vintage Label Dies.
I used a couple of cards from the Project Life Blush edition to make my card on the right. I die cut a frame out of the polka dotted card using the MCT Just Simply Live die, to highlight the sentiment from the Project Life card. I also added a cute little flower made with Flower Petal Dies. The white circle was made with a die from the Build a Banner Kit, and I stamped a cute Peachy Keen face on top.
I had fun designing the rest of my cards that I die cut with the Stitched Journal Die. For the yellow one, I used Harvest Gold cardstock and stamped Script Type Backgrounds onto it with Harvest Gold ink, to give it a subtle pattern. I then stamped the cute bunnies from Hello Spring and a sentiment from Happy Hunting.
For my pink card, I stamped a pattern from Spring Chicken Backgrounds, using Classic Kraft ink on Sweet Blush cardstock. I added some grass that I made with my Martha Stewart Icicle Punch and then ran through my Vagabond with the Stitched Journal Die to make stitching that matched up with the pink card. The cute Easter eggs were made with the egg die from Hello Spring.
My journaling card on the right was made with a stamp from Journal It!, using Limade Ice ink. Now that it's summer vacation for me, I plan to get all caught up with my Project Life. This page was a good way to get me started!
