Happy National Scrapbooking Day! There's a Summer Card Project Contest on Echo Park's blog that I thought would be fun to join. We've been having some extremely hot weather here in the San Francisco Bay Area this week, so I'm definitely in a summer mood!
For the background of my card I used a wood pattern from Echo Park's Fall Fever digital paper and waves from A Perfect Summer. The orange layer behind that was edged with ekSuccess's Bumpy Road Edger Punch.
This adorable sentiment - one of my favorites for summer - is from My Creative Time's Have Fun in the Sun stamp set. I used the MCT Curly Label Die and Stitched Curly Label Die to make the label, using more patterned paper from A Perfect Summer.
To make my cute flip flops, I die cut some fun striped paper from A Perfect Summer, using my Papertrey Ink Flipping Out dies. I cut the flower layer out of orange felt and added some Teresa Collins He Said She Said Enamel Dots on top. I think I'm ready to hit the beach now!
