MCT Birthday Blog Hop & Sale!

Welcome to a special My Creative Time Blog Hop!  Today we are celebrating Emma's birthday!  We've got lots of fun birthday projects to share with you, an awesome giveaway, AND an amazing sale!  If you just stumbled upon here, you will want to start back at the beginning, at Emma's blog.


Emma loves teal and red, so I used the Authentique Celebration collection for all of the patterned papers on her card.  To make my background I adhered a 5 1/2" x 4" piece of teal patterned paper to my black A2 size card base.  I then cut a strip of the little girls and adhered that down.  Just above it, I repeatedly stamped "Happy Birthday" from My Creative Time's Chocolate Greetings.


I used a TON of My Creative Time dies on this card!  First, I cut a doily shape using the Stitched Doily Die as a way to ground all of my other cuts.  I then made a ticket with the Stitched Fun Tickets Dies and added a cute cork lady made with the Stitched Restroom Peeps Dies.  The adorable frame was made with the Stitched Mini Frame, cut once out of a coaster and again out of patterned paper, to give it extra dimension.  I accented it with a little red heart made with the Stitched Button Dies and added a fun sentiment from It's All About You.  Finally, I added a pretty butterfly made with Chunky Jar Accessories.
