MCT April Sneak Peek #3

It's Day 3 of My Creative Time April Sneak Peeks, and I have another fun card to share with you today!  This is for all of you who live in a part of the country where the winter weather does not seem to be going away.  I think we are all about ready for summer!

Today I made an A7 size card (5" x 7 1/8").  I really wanted a piece of woodgrain patterned paper, and luckily I remembered that there was one in my Echo Park Fall Fever digital collection.  How handy to just print that out on my home printer!

Here's a really fun new My Creative Time product:  Stitched Mini Frame & Arrow Dies!  I just used the frame dies for this card, and to make them extra thick, I die cut them out of a coaster to glue beneath my pattern paper.  This gave a lot of nice dimension.  To make my "hanger", I used screw brads from Recollections and some thin hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.  The images are all from MCT's All Around Everything Accessories, colored with Copic markers.

The "Summer" stamp is from MCT's Have Fun in the Sun, and I added a few Glam Rocks by Imaginisce.  This banner die is from MCT's Vintage Stitched Label Dies.

For this cute sentiment, which you will learn more about tomorrow, I used the die from MCT's Chocolate Greetings.
