Valentines for my Class

Valentine's Day is sneaking up on me!  I got my cards sent out, but I still need to make little treats for my students.  I just whipped up this one, and I'll make 19 more this weekend.  It should go quickly, assembly line style, with some My Creative Time dies.  My base is the MCT 3 x 3 Fancy Tri-Fold Card, which comes with the Card Sentiments Stamp & Die Set.  I cut it once in red, and ran the bottom fold through my Vagabond with the Cuttlebug Hugs & Kisses embossing folder.  To add a little pattern,  I cut a piece of heart paper from the Martha Stewart Enchanted Woodland mat pad, using just the top fold of the 3 x 3 Fancy Tri-Fold Card Die.

The fun sentiment and ladybug are from MCT's Classmate Valentines, the perfect stamp set for making Valentines for kids!  I cut the circle and scallop shape with MCT's Scallop & Stitched Circle Dies.  The ladybug was colored with Copic markers, and I used a little bit of Glossy Accents on the dots and eyes.

On the inside of the card, I used some ATG tape to adhere a pack of mini M&Ms.  I then used some tiny glue dots to close the card.  I think my 3rd graders will like these!

Now, get ready to be wowed next week with the My Creative Time February Sneak Peeks!  This release really is "to die" for, and you are going to want it all!  You've been warned!
