The day you have been waiting for is finally here! I know there is much excitement over the sneaks you've seen of the My Creative Time February Release and you can order your own today! If you just stumbled upon here, you are going to want to start at the beginning, at Emma's blog, where she has a video showcasing the ENTIRE release!
I've got all sorts of My Creative Time products on my card for you today, both old and new!
First, I made my jar with a die from the adorable new Stitched Chunky Jar Dies. I cut it once in cream cardstock, and then I cut half of it with some pretty blue paper from Echo Park's Scoot to look like water. I thought it would be fun to add some "beads" to the base of the jar, so I used some silver paper from The Paper Company with the new Stitched Button Dies. I just love these! I used one of the larger heart buttons at the top of the jar, and tied it with some thin hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. For my sentiment, I stamped "Smile" from Emma's Small Talk stamp set on a cute label from the new Chunky Jar Accessories. Love these!
To create my flowers, I used Emma's Rolled Flower Dies and attached them to hand cut stems and leaves cut with the Cuttlebug Quilled Daisy Kit. All of the patterned papers I used are from My Mind's Eye Unforgettable paper pack (available at Liz's Paper Loft Boutique), aside from the kraft background, which is from My Mind's Eye Kraft Fun Day Everyday and the blue I mentioned earlier.
Since this is a very bulky card that I wanted to hand deliver, I put it in a large glassine bag from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. I covered a little clothespin with some patterned paper to close the bag.
And to decorate the bag, I used the new Stitched Doily Die, topped with cork cut with the circle from the Scallop & Stitched Circle Dies, and another button heart made from the Stitched Button Dies, tied with some pretty green hemp.
Here is a closer look at all of the new products that I used on this project. They are all available NOW in the My Creative Time Store!
