Ice Cream Birthday Tag


Here's a fun birthday tag inspired by a card by Lexi Daly.  She's the designer of Papertrey Ink's Comfort Food, and I loved her idea of attaching balloons to the ice-cream carton from this set!  I stamped the ice-cream with dark chocolate ink onto white cardstock cut with the coordinating die and then added some color with Copic markers.  My balloons were made with some scraps and the ornament die from My Creative Time's Warm Holiday Fun.  I needed a little sentiment, and this one from MCT's Teeny Tag Greetings fit perfectly!  The tag itself was cut with MCT's Tag Dies, and I added a little bit of October Afternoon washi tape across the bottom.  The washi tape gave me my color inspiration!
