Okay, before I start, I have to share how this card came about. My brother sent me a video of my nephews' favorite new pastime. The 6-year-old sits in their toy dump truck with his 3-year-old brother in his lap, and they roll down the hill in the backyard. It is too funny to watch, and I just had to incorporate a dump truck into their Christmas card!
I used some of my favorite patterned paper from Echo Park's This & That: Christmas. The dump truck is a cut from the Cricut Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. I cut it at 2 1/4", twice in yellow, and once in black, so that I could cut the different sections to give it a more layered look. I inked around the edges and added some fun metal stickers that I had in my stash. The tree is cut at 3" from the Cricut Christmas Solutions cartridge. I then added some Liquid Applique to the tree, truck, and road to give it a snowy look.
This sweet sentiment is from My Creative Time's Christmas House stamp set, stamped on cream cardstock cut with the MCT Stitched Oval Die. Hopefully the boys will like their little dump truck card!
