Snowman Gift Card Holder

My mom asked me to make a couple of gift card holders for her.  This one is for my teenage nephew, so I kept it pretty simple.  I used the My Creative Time Embossed Gift Card Holder (the best die ever for quick and cute gift card holders) and stamped a sentiment from the MCT Gift Card Sentiments stamp set. I then layered black cardstock and some pretty patterned paper from Echo Park's This & That:  Christmas.

I've seen lots of snowmen made with text paper this year, and I just love this trend.  I wanted something a little subtle, so I used my Silhouette Studio program to make the text more transparent in the This & That Christmas digital paper.  Check out this video to see how to do this.  The snowman was made with Papertrey Ink's Made of Snow stamps and dies, and I added a tag stamped with my nephew's name that I made with MCT's Teeny Tag Die and the letters from MCT's Just Simply Live.
