MCT 12 Days of Christmas - Day 7

Are you ready for another My Creative Time 12 Days of Christmas post?  Today I have a fun tree decorated with lots of My Creative Time goodies!  I found this cute burlap tree at Michael's.  It had a rather sad red satin ribbon tied around the burlap, so the first thing I did was switch that out with some pretty Stampin' Up ribbon!

I made the JOY banner using the MCT Build a Banner Kit and stamped the letters with MCT's Circle Font.  After tying buttons to the ends, I just tied the banner to the branches.  The red is a much prettier red in person, but I was having a really hard time getting a good picture!

I made a few really cute ornaments with the dies from MCT's Warm Holiday Fun.  To make them, I cut the shape four times, and scored each one down the center.  I then adhered them together to give it a 3-D effect.  Before adhering the last one, I added a little loop of red hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

This little ornament was made by adhering two of the star shapes from Build a Banner back to back, with a little baker's twine in between.  More twine on a red button finished it off!
