MCT 12 Days of Christmas - Day 2

It's Day 2 of the My Creative Time 12 Days of Christmas, and today I have a little home decor to share with you.  This was a pretty simple project.  It takes some time for Mod Podge to dry, but that just gives you time for some other crafting in between!  The cute letters were cut with My Creative Time's Lowercase Fun Dies.

I started with some 1 1/2" wooden cubes that I picked up at Hobby Lobby.  I then took my favorite Christmas paper, Handmade Holiday from Simple Stories, and cut it into 1 1/4" squares.  After inking up the edges, I was ready to go.  I did one side all of the blocks at a time, covering the side with Mod Podge and placing the patterned paper on it, waiting 15 minutes, and then covering it with Mod Podge again.  Once all of the patterned paper squares were adhered, I put out the blocks in a way that looked good to me and then adhered the letters by putting a little Mod Podge on the block, placing the letters on that, and then covering with more Mod Podge after a 15 minute wait.  Once they were all dry, I put them out with a fun jingle bell tied with seam binding from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique!
