MCT 12 Days of Christmas - Day 12

It's our last day of the My Creative Time 12 Days of Christmas!  I hope you have been as inspired by all of the projects from Emma and the rest of the design team as I have been!  For my final project, I used a super cute 3D Bookplate Box file by Lori Whitlock, which I purchased in the Silhouette Studio Store.  My patterned paper was created by printing the music note pattern from the Cricut Imagine Vintage Papers cartridge on kraft cardstock.  I love the soft effect this gives.

I embellished the box with some pretty grosgrain ribbon from Stampin' Up.  The little tag was made with My Creative Time's Curly Label Die and Stitched Curly Label Die, stamped with a sentiment from All Around Christmas.  I tied it to the ribbon with a wood veneer snowflake and some thick kraft hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

One of the things I love about this box is the little bookplate!  I personalized this for my sister, using letters from MCT's Just Simply Live.  After the holidays, she can keep this little box on her desk to hold knickknacks.  It's a pretty good size - 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 2 1/2"!

For now, the box is filled with Christmas tags.  Every year, my sister holds a Christmas tea for all of the ladies in my family, and we usually exchange little gifts.  I'll be giving everybody one of these boxes of tags.  I have 45 tags made; now I just have to make 4 more boxes!  If you need any tag ideas, I'll be posting lots more in the next week or so!

HUGE GIVEAWAY

Okay, since it's Christmas time, Emma decided to give away TWELVE of her FAVORITE things to ONE LUCKY person!  She will announce one of the prizes each day in her video!  So by the 12th day, you will have seen ALL 12 items that ONE lucky person will be receiving!  All you have to do is leave your comment each day!  It's that simple!  ALSO, (very important) please leave your contact information so we can contact you if you are the lucky winner!

Now, be sure to click on the link below to see what Emma and the MCT Design Team have created for you today!
