It's a 3-D Wednesday with My Creative Time, and Emma asked us to create a wreath. I've seen lots of these cute little yarn wreaths on Pinterest, and I think they make the cutest ornaments! I looked at Michael's for the little wreath forms, but they didn't have them. So instead, I went next door and found some clear shower curtain hooks at K-Mart.
To make this is pretty easy - just start wrapping yarn around your wreath form. To get the striped look, cut two lengths of different colors, and wrap them around at the same time, side by side. Here's a good tutorial that I followed. For the wreath above, I created a "Believe" tag using a stamp from My Creative Time's From Our Family to Yours stamp set and the dies from Teeny Tag Greetings. I tied this to the wreath, along with some miniature jingle bells, with a bit of twine, and hot glued a red satin bow on top of that. This wreath makes me think of The Polar Express with the bells and "believe"!
For this wreath, I made a cute little jingle bell with the die from My Creative Time's Warm Holiday Fun. I attached it to the wreath with some baker's twine and then added a pretty bow and button with hot glue. So fun!
Be sure to stop by Emma's blog to see what wreaths she and the rest of the design team have to share with you today!
