I love the My Creative Time 3 x 3 Fancy Tri-fold Card Die! It's so easy to whip up a quick little card that can make somebody's day! And how fun it is to make a coordinating envelope with the 3 x 3 Fancy Envelope Die? I even added a little cloud for writing the recipient's name using the MCT Fly Away with Me Dies on some label paper.
For this card, I used a kraft card base, but I also cut the front part of the tri-fold in a green polka dot. I trimmed it down, and then used the Martha Stewart Icicle Punch to make it look like grass. The sweet little tree stamp and die is from the new Papertrey Ink Heart-2-Heart #8. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Card Sentiments, the stamp set that inlcudes the tri-fold card die.
I used the same polka-dot paper to make my envelope coordinate with the grass!

WOW Katie, that's simply gorgeous! With those dies it certainly would be easy to whip out a whole production line of cards to have at the ready... Great inspiration as always, thanks for that!

Katie ~ Oh this would TOTALLY make someones day!!! I LOVE that little tree on the Tri~Fold card!! I need to make some of these cards like this becuase they may be small but have such a HUGE impact to someones day! I TOTALLY agree with your post! Oh I LOVE the green paper and how CUTE to add the cloud to the envelope!!!
ReplyDeleteI always like polka dot papers...they make a project more interesting to look at. The 3x3's are so cute for a quick note. I like that the envelope matches the card. Did I remember something about not sending this size in the mail?? If you mail one you need a larger not square envelope? I can't remember for sure.
