Halloween Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time Halloween Blog Hop!  You are in for two fun days filled with inspiration!  If you arrived here from Jeanne's blog, you are on the right track.  If you just happened upon here, you might want to start at the beginning, at Emma's blog.  For my project today, I made a fun little pumpkin decoration, along with a sweet card.

Let's start with the card.  I thought it would be fun to make a little different shape, so I used my Gypsy to weld together a rectangle and a semi-circle shape from the Cricut Wild Card cartridge. I sized them so that together they would be 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I then duplicated the new shape and welded two of them side by side to make the card base.  For the layer, I just took my original shape and shrunk it down a bit.  The adorable trick-or-treating bears are cut at 3.12" from the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge.  I used the blackout shape feature so that I could stamp some cute Peachy Keen faces on them.

The "Happy Halloween" sentiment is from My Creative Time's Treats for My Sweet stamp set.  Isn't that a fun font? I also used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges.

This cute pumpkin was made with a Lori Whitlock cut from the Silhouette Store.  Instead of using the leaves that came with it, I used the leaf dies from MCT's Piles of Smiles stamp and die set.  I can't resist the stitching on them!!!

A sweet tag made with the die from Teeny Tag Greetings and stamped with a sentiment from Piles of Smiles is attached with some metallic hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.
