My Creative Time 3-D Wednesday

It's 3-D Wednesday at My Creative Time, and today Emma has challenged us to make our 3-D project using the colors kraft, white, teal, and purple!  I needed to make a gift box for my 14-year-old niece's birthday present, and this 2 drawer box by Lori Whitlock, found in the Silhouette store, was just perfect to hold earrings and a teeny tiny pottery bowl.

I sized the box as large as I could, using 12" x 12" kraft paper from The Paper Studio, and then I decorated it with an animal print from The Paper Studio's Safari Untamed paper pack.  Both of these sets of papers came from Hobby Lobby.  To make the animal print layers, I used the internal offset feature in Silhouette Studio.  Some pretty brads from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas collection made perfect drawer pulls.

I decorated the top of the box by tying some white ribbon in a bow and adding a tag made with the die from My Creative Time's Teeny Tag Greetings, stamped with a sentiment from Celebrate Good Times. A little purple hemp from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique and the purple tag layer added my last required color for this challenge.
